Saucer dish of stoneware. Made in China, late Song Dynasty or Ming Dynasty.

Measurements:
h: 2 7/8 in; diam: 10 1/4 in; base: 4 3/8 in

Provenance:
Stephen D. Winkworth collection; his sale, Sotheby’s, 25-28 April 1933, lot 104, purchased John Sparks, £8.5.0.; Mrs. Joshua collection; her sale, Sotheby’s, 20 July 1945, lot 24 (illus. facing p.5), purchased by Frank Partridge & Sons for Sir William Burrell, , £70; by whom gifted to the Corporation of the City of Glasgow, 1945.
