Bulb bowl of porcelain. Made in China. Reign of Kangxi.

Provenance:
Mrs Robert Benson collection; her sale, Sotheby’s, 2 May 1945, lot 165 (3 items, 38_727, 38_746, 38_718 & wood cover), purchased by Frank Partridge & Sons for Sir William Burrell, £22 (this item); by whom gifted to the Corporation of the City of Glasgow, 1945.
