Large bowl of porcelain. Made in China, Ming Dynasty, 16th century.

h: 6 in; base: 10 1/4 in; gt diam: 15 in

Stephen D. Winkworth collection; his sale, Sothebyís, 24-25 April 1947, lot 247, purchased Frank Partridge & Sons for Sir William Burrell, £32; by whom gifted to the Corporation of the City of Glasgow, 1947.
