Four Chinese porcelains, photographs by Oliver Bedford to Bluetts in early 1937. All four pieces were purchased by Bluetts, details as follows:-
A. Blue and white vase decorated with scrolling peony. Height: 6¾". Xuande. Bluett stock no. 4359, bought from Bedford, 20th April 1937, £32.4.3, sold to F.C. Colthurst, 22nd April 1937, £45.
B. Blue and white bowl, five-clawed dragons, floral scrolls. Cheng Te mark. Diameter: 9". Bluett stock no. 4363, bought from Bedford, 30th April 1937, for £37.10. Sold to R.F.A. Riesco, 31st May 1937, for £57.10. Now on view at the Clockhouse, Croydon, Riesco Collection no.94.
C. Blue and white bowl, floral scrolls, the interior with floral sprays. Hsuan Te mark. Diameter: 8¼". Bluett stock no. 4364, bought from Bedford, 30th April 1937, for £27. Sold to R.F.A. Riesco, 31st May 1937, for £45. Now on view at the Clockhouse, Croydon, Riesco Collection no. 89.
D. Blue and white bowl, peony scrolls. Hsuan Te mark. Diameter: 6¾". Bluett stock no. 4365, bought from Bedford, 30th April 1937, for £20. Sold to F. Howard Paget, 16th June 1937, £37.10. Sold by Bluetts in 18th February 1945 to Amber Blanco White for £55.
