‘Mons. Constantinidi’ is referred to in John Sparks’ archive for December 1925. The Constantinidi Collection was well-known in the 1940s, and by July 1947, when it was offered for sale at Sotheby’s, was the property of Mrs M. Constantinidi, of 34 Hyde Park Square, London W.2.
