Edgar Charles Behrens (born 1885), of Norwood House, Ilkley, Yorkshire, was Director of Sir Jacob Behrens & Sons, Ltd., Bradford, Manchester and London, and Chairman of several Bradford wool companies and the National Wool Export Group. Awarded an OBE in 1919 for war service, he was made a CBE in 1951 and served as a JP for the West Riding of Yorkshire.
Behrens was a private collector, who was a client of Bluetts in 1947.
