Miss E.H. Bahr, whose sale was held at Sotheby’s in June 1946, was a collector. She was either Edna, the daughter of collector and dealer in early Chinese Art, A.W. (Abel William) Bahr (1877-1959), who lived at Oatlands Park, Weybridge and also had an office at 559 Fifth Avenue, New York, or his sister, Elizabeth.
