You or wine vessel in bronze. Made in China, Han Dynasty.

h: 7 1/4 in; overall diam: 6 3/8 in

Murray collection; H.K. Burnet collection; his sale, Sotheby’s, 2-4 April 1941, lot 263, purchased Paget, £14.10.0; E.L. Paget sale, Sotheby’s 23 January 1947, lot 50, purchased Moss, £12.0.0; Frank Partridge & Sons Ltd., from whom purchased by Sir William Burrell, 23 January 1947, £20; by whom gifted to the Corporation of the City of Glasgow, 1947.
