Oval dish in bronze. Made in China, 3rd phase, Zhou Dynasty.

Measurements:
2 3/8 x 6 x 5 1/8 in

Provenance:
Purchased in China by John Sparks Ltd., dealer; transported by ship, "Hector", July 1938; from whom purchased by Sir William Burrell, 29 October 1938, £18; by whom gifted to the Corporation of the City of Glasgow, 1944.
