Hu or wine vessel in bronze. Made in China, 3rd phase, Zhou Dynasty.

Measurements:
h: 13 1/2 in; diam of mouth: 2 3/8 in; diam base: 3 1/2 in

John Sparks Ltd., dealer; from whom purchased by Sir William Burrell, 13 January 1936, £200; by whom gifted to the Corporation of the City of Glasgow, 1944.
