Bulb bowl of earthenware. Made in China, Ming Dynasty, early 16th century.

Measurements:
h: 3 3/4 in; mouth diam: 7 in; base: 4 1/4 in

John Sparks Ltd., dealer; from whom purchased by Sir William Burrell, 23 October 1945, £35; by whom gifted to the Corporation of the City of Glasgow, 1945.

Fa-hua ware (cracked). Ming Dynasty 1368-1644AD. Height 3 5/8 in diam 7 1/4 in’.
