Large saucer dish of stoneware. Made in China, Ming Dynasty.

Measurements:
diam; 16 1/2 in; d: 3 3/8 in

Provenance:
Dr. Lindley M. Scott collection; his sale, Sotheby’s. 4 July 1945, lot 43, purchased by John Sparks, £18; from whom purchased by Sir William Burrell, 23 October 1945, £30; by whom gifted to the Corporation of the City of Glasgow, 1945.
